Are meals and snacks included?

Meals and snacks are available at an additional cost. Lunch is optional at $400-$500 per day. While we provide healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks, we do not provide infant formula or special diets.

Are uniforms required?

Yes. All children 24 months and older are required to wear a uniform. Uniforms range from $500 to $3,500, depending on the style.

What safety and security measures are in place?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. KinderAcademy maintains a secure facility with supervised access, trained staff in first aid and CPR, and strict pickup protocols. We also have a dedicated sick bay on-site for children who may fall ill during the day.

How do I stay updated on my child’s progress?

We use the Illumine app and WhatsApp to share daily updates, photos, and quick notes. For more detailed feedback, we offer parent-teacher check-ins and developmental progress reports each term.

What is your sick policy?

Children with symptoms like fever (101°F or higher), vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illnesses must stay home for at least 24 hours after symptoms resolve. If a child becomes sick at school, parents will be contacted for immediate pick-up. A doctor’s note may be required for return. Immunizations must be up to date and documented at registration.

What are the teacher-to-child ratios?

Our small group sizes allow for more personalized attention: 👶 6 weeks – 23 months: 1 teacher per 5 children 👧🏽 24 – 35 months: 1 teacher per 6 children 🧒🏾 3 – 5 years: 1 teacher per 10 children

What’s your late pick-up policy?

Our school closes at 6:00 PM, but we offer a 15-minute grace period until 6:15 PM. After that, a late fee will be charged every 15 minutes past 6:15 PM. Please notify us if you’re running late so we can reassure your child and make arrangements.

What are your hours of operation?

We’re open Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Standard Day ends at 2:00 PM. The Extended Day option runs until 6:00 PM to support working families.

How do you handle toilet training and diapering?

We support each child’s individual developmental pace. Diapering is done in a clean, sanitized area by trained caregivers. For children ready to toilet train, we partner with parents to create a consistent routine between home and school.

We’re delighted that you’re considering KinderAcademy for Young Scholars, the first certified daycare in St. Ann. Our simple admissions process ensures that each family feels welcomed and supported.

🛎️ Step 1: Tour, Interview & Orientation

Begin your journey with us by visiting KinderAcademy for a guided tour of our school. During your visit, you’ll meet with our team for a brief parent interview to help us understand your child’s unique needs.
Your child will also participate in a 1-day orientation, offering a gentle introduction to our environment and routines. This combined visit ensures a smooth transition into our school family.

💵 Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee

Secure your child’s spot by paying the non-refundable registration fee of $8,000 per child.
Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive the official Enrollment Form.

Tuition & Billing

KinderAcademy operates on a monthly tuition model. Tuition holds your child’s space in the program and is not adjusted for holidays, emergency closures, absences, or partial months.

Monthly Tuition Rates (Effective December 2025)

Full rate information is provided after your tour or upon submission of an enrollment request.

Tuition is based on your child’s age group and program hours.
Rates are confirmed at enrollment.

Billing Policy

Tuition is due on the 28th of each month for the upcoming month.
Tuition not received by the first business day of the month is considered late.
A 1,000 per day late fee begins on the second business day.
Attendance is suspended on the sixth business day if tuition and late fees remain unpaid.
Services resume only after full payment is received and space remains available.
Full payment terms are outlined in the Enrollment Agreement provided to each family.

• Nursery: 6 weeks to 2 years 11 months
• Preschool: 3 to 5 years

Additional Required Fees

Families pay standard fees to secure enrollment and support shared learning materials.
These include:

Important Information for Families

Emergency Closures & Natural Disasters

KinderAcademy may close temporarily or adjust operations due to circumstances beyond our control, including hurricanes, flooding, public health emergencies, utility outages, or government directives. These events are considered natural disasters or Acts of God.

When services are unavailable due to such events, the school will communicate clearly with families regarding reopening plans and next steps.

Goodwill Adjustments

In certain circumstances, KinderAcademy may offer refunds, credits, fee adjustments, or other support measures as a gesture of goodwill. These decisions are made at the school’s discretion, based on the situation at hand, and do not constitute a legal obligation or establish precedent for future events.

Learning Materials & Textbooks

Textbooks and learning materials are purchased by families for student use. KinderAcademy is not responsible for loss or damage to materials caused by emergencies, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond the school’s control.

Where reasonably possible, the school may assist with replacing damaged materials as a goodwill measure. Replacement of materials does not guarantee cash reimbursement unless specifically stated in writing by the school.

Tuition During Emergency Closures

Tuition and fees remain payable where services are available. Any adjustments made during emergency closures are handled on a case-by-case basis and are offered as goodwill measures only.
